The Tuesday Owls compete at AMF Capital Lanes and the bowlers have won many awards. For seniors bowling in a senior league, the Capital Area USBC Association gives a pen for 50 or more pins over average game, a pen for 100 or more pins over average series, a towel for a clean game with an average of 170 or less and a towel for a clean series with any average.
 Tim Davis (Raleigh) bowled a 215 game on 8/5/08 that was 57 pins over his average game ahe he earned a 200 game emblem from the US Bowling Congress. On 8/12, Bill Colosa (Raleigh) rolled a 218 game that was 50 pins over his average game. Bill Whitaker (Zebulon) bowled a 208 game on 8/12 that won him a pen for 59 pins over his average game and a USBC 200 game emblem. Sara Dogan (Wake Forest) had a hot streak on 9/2. For her 164 game, she got a pen for 51 pins over her average game and, from the USBC, a 160 game emblem and a 400 series pin. Also on 9/2, Derrick Boissière (Raleigh) bowled a 209 game clean game and earned a towel. Next we have Hershell Carter (Raleigh) rolling a 202 game on 9/9 which was 71 pins over his average game and the USBC presented him with a 200 game emblem. Marion Boissière (Raleigh) bowled a 194 game, 51 pins over her average game on 9/9. On 9/16, Harry Hunt (Raleigh) had a 186 game which was 51 pins over his average game and, from the ISBC, got a 180 game emblem. Bill Whitaker (Zebulon) bowled a fine game of 230 that was 80 pins over his average game on 9/30 and, so, earned a 75 over average game emblem from the USBC. James Scott (Wake Forest)rolled a 207 game on 9/30 which was 72 pins over his average game andhe won a 200 game USBA emblem. Bill Colosa's (Ralegh) 216 on 10/7 was a clean game. From Knightdale, Frank Petrone, on 11/4, bowled a 186 game that was a clean game and an all spare game for which he earned an all spare emblem fron the USBC. Also on 11/4, Fennell Preddy (Raleigh) had a 227 which was 57 pins over his average game. Mrs. Ira Poe (Raleigh) rolled a 176 game which was 68 pins over her average game and a 406 series for which she received a 400 series pin and a 160 game patch from the USBC on 11/11/. On 11/11, Harris Dogan bowled 226 and it was 55 pins over his average game.
