Before you go to an outdoor sports event this weekend, be sure to check to see that it hasn't been postponed. Wet weather is affected to affect the area as Tropical Storm Hannah arrives and Hurricane Ike potentially threatens. Storm coverage and updates on postponements and cancellations can be found at newsobserver.com. Events also will be updated in the Play! Recreational Sports Calendar as they are received.
