Should state government be more open?


Some records never see the light of day by accident, such as water records. Others are deliberately kept secret. Some open government advocates are hoping to change state law by creating an overriding right to records and meetings based on the state Constitution. What do you think? I read that a booklet discussing open NC Government and Sunshine Laws is under development. What is its status and how can a copy be o0btained?
