Bat problems

We bought a house in Durrant Trails this March. During inspection, we discovered a small amount of bat droppings in both attics, but no bats. After moving in and the weather had changed, we called Critter Control just to be safe. When he came out he found two male bats. One in each attic. He removed them by hand and told us this:
He was not going to kill them, but take them back to his buisness location and release them. But, before he did that he needed to seal off all the openings to our attic. There were six different vent areas. Because bats migrate, once they are released they just go home.(Our Home) And, even if they are released in Cleveland, OH. They will go home.(Our Home) Now he said, when they get there they will try each and every opening to get in. When they figure out that they can't get in they will move on to a neighbor's
house.
He also said this:
We were lucky to have male bats because they live alone. The females are the ones that bring along their friends and family. On the way to our house he noticed other homes that look like they might have a bat problem. If you are a resident of Durrant Trails you may want to have your house checked. I drove around after he left, and only notice one other home with screens over the vents.
