... he wouldn't recognize it. A despicalble cartoon.
Given a bit of editorial instruction, clearly Mr. Powell could draw a breath.
Given a country bought and paid for in patriots' blood, Mr. Powell would most likely draw a blank.
Give him a noble fight, and he'd probably just "oui oui" in his pants.
What a hack cartoonist. He always needs to add a bunch of text with arrows pointing to his objects to convey his simpleton and leftist messages. Very subtle. In 10 seconds I thought of 3 different ways to do the cartoon without the hack explanations and you probably could to. I love it when he draws people and he has to label them so you know who they are. Now thats the mark of a skilled artist.
To TGwalton...
I, and especially my kids, thank you for your service. I read some really great stuff in the MilBlogs. Sure hoping for the day that they ship the military lawyers home and let you guys fight the way you're capable of. Hopefully the next president prioritizes victory over political correctness.
WW2 wasn't a "war against Blitzkreig" it was a "war against Fascism".
We're NOT at war with a tactic (terrorism) , we're at war with Islam.
We're so freeking PC we're unwilling to name the enemy!
....paging Gen. Patton.....Gen Patton ..... please report to the Oval Office
This is so typical of what we've come to expect from what in my opinion has become the most biased, agenda oriented media in history.
Thank you for the painful but honest cartoon. It shocks one, but so it should.

How about this for a shock.....
There's approx 100+ million Islamomaniacs that want you dead and would be happy to do it personally with a rusty sword or an Iranian designed nuke. Retreating to our homeland and placing our heads in the sand is not a survivable solution.
This had to be the most disgusting thing I have ever witnessed. Regardless of one's opinion this is way out of bounds. I cancelled my subscription because of this. I could put up with the bias, the failure of reporters to do investigate reporting by not asking the hard questions, the misues of the english language, and many more. But this is directed at men and women in the military and their families who haved saficied their all to make a better life for all of us.
Mr. Powell
I have enjoyed your cartoons for many years, funny, sad, thought provoking but I must say this cartoon is in BAD TASTE.

If today's liberal media had been around in WWII along with the bleeding heart politicians who question the credentials of a highly educated, highly skilled, highly decorated 4 star general we would all be speaking German or Japanese. Suck it up people. If you recall when Bush said we were going after the terrorists it would take a long time. I don't know your definition of a long time, but I am a Viet Nam veteran and I believe we were there for some 11 years and then lost due to the same unwillingness to see it through. I understand that editorial cartoons are supposed to make us think. Well I THINK Powell is an unpatriotic, un American, HACK!!
mmmmm
i really dont know if this suppose to be funny or not but i served three years in iraq and i dont think this gives us the right message. so why dont you let us fight and quit being so damn negative about ever thing. its called support .............................
