1st week of middle school
My son started a Smithfield Middle School and ohmy! what a change from elem! I am most concerned by zero communication. Even at the orientation night, neither the principal or asst princ. were onhand to greet the new parents of upcoming 6th graders. We have only rec'd the standard newspaper from Dr. Parker. No info on lunch, no info on lockers, no info of use of textbooks, no info on library books, nothing from the administration to the parents. It's very shocking!
