Was this posed (vs candid), and what was the lighting?

And I must say that she is far more attractive than all of those scarecrows!  ;^}

Beautiful and dramatic!  It would be interesting to try a crop of the left side in "portrait" orientation.

Thanks for the compliments. I took this sitting around a restaurant table while my niece (the subject) tried to ignore me, so it is more candid than not. The lighting is just the side lighting fromthe window, though I tweaked the shadow setting in Picasa.
