Some useful info gleaned...
Some useful information I gleaned from this website which could be applied to non-lunar photography is the use of converting JPG images to TIFF format when working on them. This I found to be especially useful when resizing images to a smaller size. Once resized using TIFF format the image can then be converted back to JPG format and the results show a lot better resolution producing a much sharper image. Perhaps the techies here might be able to tweek this site to do the same for displaying the preview images here on this site? That would be a definite plus in my opinion.
