This unusual rainbow formed briefly for only about a minute directly overhead just as the annual Christmas parade had begun in Hillsborough on December 2, 2006. Fortunately I had looked up at this time and noticing it, I photographed it, and then the parade which followed. As I was photographing the rainbow overhead, others around me noticed where I had my camera aimed and saw it too. As for its remarkable timing, I would have to say it was perfect!
