"No Reservations"
In a summer filled with endless sequels to famed blockbusters, "No Reservations" is a breath of fresh air. A low-key romantic comedy with serious overtones, it makes for a great date-night flick and a warm-hearted family relationship movie, too.
The cast is good, but of special notice is Abigail Breslin ("Little Miss Sunshine"), who makes you care about the romance between Aaron Eckhart and Catherine Zeta-Jones. She is adorable and sympathetic, with sad eyes that can melt even the coldest of hearts. She is even better here than in "Little Miss Sunshine".
If you are tired of sequels and remakes that usually dominate the multiplexes, "No Reservations" should be considered among the few good choices to see in your local theater. It also makes you feel like going to your local restaurant and having a fine wine with a good meal.
