This ruling is a bigger disaster than the decision to go year round. Wake CARES has totally disrupted thousands of families for their agenda and it is disgusting. My family and I were looking forward to year round and have made plans to that affect, so now what? Also, what do you think teachers and administrators are thinking about now? Do you think that they are giving all of their efforts to educating our children? No, they are worried about what to do next, fielding phone calls and visits from angry or anxious parents. Teachers are worried about what this means for them. Can you imagine having your professional work schedule jerked around like they have now done to these teachers??? None of this is in the best interest of our children. It's easy to blame it on the school board, but what about our kids, right now. I hope a Wake CARES parent is ready to take my place when my 6 year olds are going to school from 1:30-7pm. Thanks for absolutely nothing. I hope your kids has fun at their intellectual summer camp.

if your kids were going to year round they still will as long as you want them too... the real disaster is the arrogance and incompetence of the school board.
