Why did it take Liddy so long? What are your thoughts on the OLF?
Proposed OLF
There are better places for the OLF. They may not have totall darkness but would be good enough for practice. Craven county and Pitt county would be good places to look at for a new location. To help make an opinion about whether it is safe to fly at night in the proposed area, try this. Invite all the Navy proponents to fly at night, in 2 seat jets, in the area of the proposed OLF. They would do this on a night condusive to geese and other birds flying. If they are not hit, near missed or just scared to death, then show them how close they came by radar tracking.
