How sweet it is not to see the Canes in the playoffs...

Yep, ya'll guessed it. A Buffalo fan here. Just wanted to express my joy to all you buck toothed John Deere lovers over the fact that Brind'Amour's absolutely horrid face won't be seen in this years Cup run, along with the rest of those ill-deserving Cup sugarcanes.

Flame away Oh boards faithful. I won't be back to check your illiterate replies.

The fact that the Canes couldn't even compete this Spring in the playoffs proves that your Cup win was a fluke. A gift handed to you by fortunate bounces, mediocre players who played better than they should, and above all, injuries.

While Buffalo blazed through Oct and Nov with 20 wins in 25 games, the Canes limped into the season, winless in their first 4 games.

The Sabres are a team that will be challenging for some time. Carolina? One and done. So make sure that the Lord's Cup is sufficiently washed of any remaining chew juice. Shine that baby up, because it's coming to Buffalo this year, a real hockey town. A city of drunk jerks who love their team with a passion, who can sell out their games, and who know the rules of hockey. More than I can say for Carolina, who had to have a rule explanation section run in their Gazette last year to explain the overwhelmingly impossible terms of the game, like icing.

So sit back, clean the wax out of those hairy ears, mop up the engine oil on the kitchen countertop with your favorite Nascar shirt, tell your cousin that you can't come over with that box of wine, and watch a legitimate Cup contender this year.
