State Rep. Martha Alexander has introduced a bill that would outlaw school spanking. In 2002, students in North carolina received corporal punishment 4,866 times. Roughly two out of three school districts in our state allow it, though most industrialized nations prohibit it. What do you think? Should school personnel paddle students?

Spanker's Union
I'm okay with it, as long as the spankers unionize. That way there's a "designated spanker" and the union can perform background checks and ensure uniform procedure. Sign up with the Local Spankers 402 if you want to paddle kids. It should be a title too, like Doctor. If you're a spanker, you ought to get recognition. "Jimmy, if you pass one more note in class, you'll be sitting in Spanker Brown's office. Do you understand me?" That way, his/her mail will come addressed as Spanker as well.
