JA encourages students to complete their education while giving them the skills necessary to succeed in life. Using hands on activities, Junior Achievement's kindergarten through twelfth grade programs are designed to educate and inspire young people to value free enterprise, business and economics. In a partnership with business and educators, area business volunteers serve as discussion leaders and role models bringing the real world to students, opening their minds to their potential.
Substantial numbers of America's youth are at risk of reaching adulthood unable to meet the requirements of the workplace. Unfortunately, due to a shortage of volunteers and funding, only 11% of local children get the benefits of JA programs. Your support for Junior Achievement programs matters to thousands of students.
