WOW.. Well, where do i begin. I went through Teen Challenge twice. I was hardcore crack head. You wouldn't know it to see me then or now. I am/have been a public speaker, in managment and owner of my own company.

Granted there are some realllllllllll jerks there. Eureka having several of their own, in fact a horrible thing happened to me there, unjust, but you know what, following the precepts I learned THROUGH TC, via the Bible, PRACTICING God's word, forgiving and moving on, GOD showed them all as they ate from the very plate they served us and we were blessed as a result of the way we handled it - not just outwardly cause that can always be a show as in Christi's case and many others, but INWARDLY.

I tell you this TC in Saginaw Michigan, CANT BEAT IT. Teen Challenge in Bakersfield, can't beat it. Yeah we were crammed into vans and had long trips to endure but I endured a heck of a lot more on drugs and for drugs than what I endured for the sake of getting better, obtaining discipline in my life and learning to do the right thing,

I am sooooooooooooo sorry u only saw/see the BAD in TC. There are BADDDDD cops, BAD politicians, BAD people everywhere, but all in all, if there were no TC's to help people like me my hubby and many others that are STILL sober.... I don't know, personally at least, what "I" would have done. I'd be dead, for reals!! Secular just doesn't cut it,

It's also unfortunate you did not print the positive things on your site. I see only negatives. It's not objective at all, but that wasn't your point, to be objective that is... :(

Sadly enough, I don't know what happened in your case, I see your point of view of things, but, if you CHEW THE MEAT AND SPIT OUT THE BONE there's a lot more MEAT !!!!!!!!! Christies, will ALWAYS be around to bug our lives and torment us with their arrogance. I know her. I know Rod Tidwell. I went to S. Calif TC, N. Calif TC and Saginaw, Mi TC and worked at Davie, Florida TC.... ALL had staff members that i LOATHED at least one!!!

Some were so wishy washy subservient they couldnt think on their own if they tried. Others, like even myself, became so robotic, the "relationship" of God was missed. BUT, I needed all that percise, stringent teaching 12 months to get it through my THICK head how to act for a change a REAL change - a life change. It finally stuck

Im NOT robotic anymore, I DO NOT go to assembly of God anymore, but there are good ones out there, as with anything, good and bad. Money hungry/led by the flesh and those led by the spirit. That's life.

Balanced out, I'm glad they are around, and God WILL GET THOSE THAT DID ANY OF US ANY WRONG, believe me, rarely do we see it, I have gotten a glimpse of what some of my "mistreaters" have done. But figure, they are just miserable people that happen to work at TC.

Or, they are the cop you hate or the politician you loathe, see what I mean.
