LIO is juvenile and unimaginative.  Also Pearls Before Swine should not be retained; it fits the above description.

I am responding to your offer to share comments about "LIO" and to your comic pages in general. Here goes. Sad to say, I am getting more and more disappointed with your comics selection. Used to be I would savor reading the comics (along with the xword & word jumble). But I must say that now I don't do more than just check out the good comics (Blondie, Zits, Luann, Non Sequiter, Curtis, Dilbert, Get fuzzy, Shoe, Beetle Bailey). Why must the following LAME strips continue? For better or for worse, Jump start, Rose is rose, Pickles, Family circus, Dennis the menace, Watch your head-PLEASE DUMP THIS ONE-bring back Boondocks, Lio, Funky winkerbean, Frazz, Baby blues and particularly inane Sylvia. Your comic strip pages seem to be overloaded with mostly uninteresting/unfunny strips. Check out the variety the Washington post provides (The piranna club, Prickley city, Sherman's lagoon etc). What would really be neat would be to list all of your strips and have your readers rate every one. See what happens. Thanks for letting me vent.

Thanks for letting us have our say about the comics. First the comics we love and look forward to reading:  For Better or Worse,  Zits, Peanuts, Luann, Non Sequitur, Funky Wikerbean, Sally Forth, Pearls Before Swine, Baby Blues, Opus.

Read daily but consider avaerage:  Blondie, Jump Start, Rose is Rose, Curtis, Family Circus, Dilbert, Get Fuzzy, Frazz, Hi & Lois, Beetle Bailey, Kudzu, Mutts.

Don't read, not interested: Pickles, Shoe, Rhymes with Orange, Gil Thorp, BC.

Can't stand, don't understand or hate: Garfield, Watch Your Head (we loved boondocks), Sylvia.

New comic Lio:  We mostly don't understand this comic and don't think its funny (except today's - saturday - was not too bad).

Would like to add in future:  Grand Avenue, Red & Rover.
