Dave,
Nice shot. Makes me homesick. My grandmother, an old mountain woman, called this "hoar frost" and my Dad always called it rime ice.
I really like the broken tree on the far right with the branches springing up from the shattered trunk. It gives you an idea of the harsh weather conditions near the peaks of these mountains. Including details like that really help the viewer linger and find extra layers of content.
