Last time I went to the new Fresh Market on Falls of Neuse, I couldn't find the Jewish Food section. I didn't have time to ask, so when I went in today, I asked the manager where the Jewish Food section went. He said Corporate has discontinued that section. I am amazed that they have made this decision. I asked if it was because the products didn't move. He said no that wasn't the reason. So, what is the reason. I told him that I would have to take my business elsewhere.
Whole Foods is now carrying Kosher chicken and more Kosher products. Harris Teeter at North Ridge has a larger selection now too. I really like to buy my meat at Fresh Market and it was convenient for me today to shop there because I was getting my haircut next door.
This is a foolish decision for Fresh Market.
