Michael Jackson died at 50. Elvis Presley died at 42. They both died before they should have. Both men did more for music and culture than most musicians will ever do. They are both truly legends.

Presley was the man. MJ got a lot of moves from Elvis (hip movements) but MJ took it to another level. I can't say. Bother were awesome and have huge followings.

Correction The KIng of Pop got his mives from the hardest working man in show business. JAMES BROWN hands down. elvis never moved the way MJ or James Brown did. Micheal Jackson was loved in every country all over the entire Earth.

No comparison. Elvis was, and will be, the biggest star ever. His catalog of music is much greater than Michael Jackson's and the staying power of it is is unbelievable. He's still selling over 30 years after his death.
This is not to take anything away from the talent and career of Michael Jackson. He's easily the second biggest star.
I'm saddened by both of their lives. They had everything and nothing.

Elvis could have made 10x the catalog of music that Michael made but it will never be recognized around the world the way Michaels music is and will forever be. People will forever until the end of time buy MJ's music and maybe Elvis too. Many people have come second and surpassed the 1st!

He will always be the best in history. as a little girl me and my friends would always dance to his music no matter what the song was we try to sing like him, do his moves and even tried to somewhat dress his style, the beat the words that help us as we got older and moved on in life we always took a part of him with us.He always had music for the younger and older generation,and for people of color. Along the way he made not only the best songs but a lot of best friends and half of them he ever knew but he knew the world loved Michael.We as a world will miss him so dearly but we can always listen to the best of music that he left behind. So as a county our hearts mourn now but for we know he is in a better place. To the family our prayers are with you at the time of the lost of your love one.
