What are your thoughts on this?
Is Israel justified in this ban on remembering the ~700,000 people forced from their homes when Israel was created? Why?
Or is this ban another attempt at suppressing Palestinian rights and identity, or to continue forcing Palestinians out?
Anger over Palestinian Nakba ban proposal

Given this propsed ban and Avigdor Lieberman's proposed loyalty oath and comments about drowning Palestinians, how reasonable is it to constantly demand that Palestinians recognize Israel as a Jewish state, especially given that Israel doesn't have to recognize anything resembling a Palestinian state (or even be committed to a one or two state solution, currently) ?

racist
It's kind of like if we were to ban expressions of Native American history, culture, and heritage.
Also, the Palestinian flag is not allowed. There are many political prisoners sitting in Israeli jails (against international law- prisoners are supposed to be held in their own territory so they can have access to lawyers and family) whose only "crime" was to put one up.
It is amazing that those who were treated so horribly in Nazi controlled countries could be so lawless and cruel to other human beings.
