What about the timing? It happened between the election and inauguration. Coincidence?
Should Obama plot a new course in the Middle East or follow the same pattern of blind support for Israel?
Was the media blackout something a democracy like Israel should have imposed?

Given the death toll, infrastructure, and UN schools/shelters (Israel had the exact coordinates of all UN facilities) that were attacked, is Israel taking appropriate care to avoid civilian casualties?

Was a unilateral ceasefire the best thing or is Israel trying to avoid agreeing to certain terms (no blockade, humanitarian aid, etc)?
Why is it acceptable for Israel to attack a captive and starving population (in self defense??) and not acceptable for Palestinians to defend themselves and to be enraged by a choice of occupation vs de facto occupation ("pull out") with a blockade??
