Biden will beat her

Joe Biden will have to hold back because if he attacks too much they will jump on him.

Palin was just awful, in my opinion. While she was able to remember, recite and deliver the quick teachings of the McCain camp's chief strategists on energy and foreign policy, I was embarrassed for her and for myself as a woman every time she evaded questions, which she did time and time again on the economy and domestic policies. We are in the worst economic crisis most Americans have seen in their lives, and there she is winking at the camera and spouting nonsensical gibberish about expanding the role of the VP (when she clearly doesn't have the skills or capacity to perform the job at its minimum level.)

Biden, on the other hand, performed very well. For a guy who tends to open mouth, insert foot - he stuck to the message and demonstrated his experience without resorting to bullying Paling (which let's face it, he could easily have done.)

At any rate, I don't think this debate earns either camp much votes, so ultimately it's a draw.

Palin/Biden debate

Palin appeared to be in total control. Biden maintained a sneaky wild-eyed expression. He has an evil look in his eyes. Palin may have seemed perky, yet quite knowledgeable of the facts. Biden was on the defensive most of the time because he tried to explain Obama's reasons and record for voting. Palin was more assured of her partner than Biden.

Palin-speak

Sarah Palin is the female version of Jeff Foxworthy's you know you're a redneck if you're not smarter than a 5th Grader. Ignorance was bliss as she parroted John McCain's maverick mantra (strays, independents). Joe Biden pointed out that John McCain voted with George Bush 92% of the time, therefore he is no maverick. She never answers to that. Biden's wild-eyed looks undoubtedly belied his amazement at constant Sarah-speak, changing the subject & making up stuff as she goes along. Biden knew the rules of debate, was polite, gracious & shows great wisdom. I'd rather count on steady is as steady does than the wild ride we've been taken on the last 8 years never knowing what & where the the maverick is going to cut to.

Palin/Biden

Biden may have looked and sounded good, but isn't that what Democrats do? Check his voting record. I don't believe much of what he said and on the things that I do believe, I disagree with his approach. Does he really think that we are stupid enough to believe that they will not increase taxes on everyone?
Palin may be hard for the Dems to take. But she brings a breath of fresh air into this election. At least she has actually run a business, something that the wonder boy has not done.

Palin, not a breath of fresh air, she's a lying viper

Palin pretends to do a public service by talking trash about Obama's supposed connections in Chicago. However, in fact, the very newspaper story Governor Palin cited in hurling her shameless false attack made it clear that Senator Obama is not close to Bill Ayers, much less 'pals,' and that Obama has strongly condemned the despicable acts Ayers committed 40 years ago, when Obama was eight years old.

Since the Palin/McCain ticket is behind in the polls by so much that Obama would win 330 ELECTORS, the lies from the GOP have begun and Palin started the smears with a speech in a fundraiser in Texas, with no cameras present. How do we even know? Because FOX quoted her, as they are now the face of the McCain campaign, since he doesnt have the money to legally address the public. She acts like she is doing a public service, but she is a lying vermin. I would say she has sold her soul, but I suspect she sold it long ago, when she began using Yahoo to conduct state business to avoid the freedom of information act. I was delighted to see that a citizen of Alaska is suing her for not following legal procedure in her use of emails.

Palin en Conrol

What are you smoking? That was a joke , right.

Biden wild-eyed? LOL That's

Biden wild-eyed? LOL That's just silly.

The candidates did what they needed to. Biden was NOT condescending. Palin was NOT stupid. On the positive side, Biden laid out a lot of facts and strong information. Palin looked more comfortable than she has recently.

If judged by pre-debate expectations, Palin is the clear winner. If judged by the content of the answers given, Biden is the clear winner.

If you're undecided, I doubt there was too much there to help you make up your mind. Palin was short on facts and Biden didn't offer any new information.

The biggest positive - it was a better debate than the Presidential one last week. I hope the next debate is a better one.

old and tired

Biden came off as old and tired and sounded more like a GOP candidate than Palin. Also, Biden during the Democratic debate, along with Hillary, berated Obama's for his statement that he would meet unconditionally with certain leaders. Now Biden seems to have forgotten that....hmmmmmm. It was also odd sounding everytime Biden talked about Obama and all that he's done and will do - kind of like the teacher saying the student is more qualified.

Palin=stupid

Anyone who thought Palin did a good job is absolutely out of touch, just like McLame. Biden used facts, Palin used a wink and a smile.

She is a robot. How the country could get to this point is beyond me. How McCain could snow so many is terrifying. Sure he is a hero, and will always be one. But, as Palin said over and over and over again--stop looking back.

This is about our future...
