Barack Obama and presidential rival John McCain debated for the third and final time Wednesday night in their quest for the White House. What did you think of the debate? Was this debate better than the first two?

I don't see why they wouldn't. As a McCain supporter I think he should debate and tell us what he plans on doing about the situation. I don't know about him being "afraid" though.
Does McCain really think he can resolve anything in DC that he can't handle over the phone or by email? Maybe he should just stand aside and Cynthia McKinney should take his place in the Mississippi debate. At least we'd get to hear 2 good views on the issues. Someone truly capable of multitasking is essential to the presidency in this day and time. BTW, where's Palin during all this? Did moose season just start?
This is obviously a ploy to make McCain appear more concerned about the economy. Go ahead....debate.
McCain didn't say cancel the debate, he said, delay it.
I am for Obama, but I am wondering if he's really willing to resolve major problems in a non-partisan manner, in favor of America or just himself and his party.
Our nation isn’t facing a "problem" it's facing a financial "crisis" and it needs to be solved now! Not in 40 days, after the election, or in 4 months when the winner takes office. Put the debate on hold until the first of next week and begin resolving this crisis now. I may not support McCain, but I don't believe he's afraid of Obama, I think he wants to begin resolving this crisis now.
If our candidates can't agree on a non-partisan resolution for this crisis now, how can we expect them to do so after the election?
I think that McCain has always put the country first, and he is showing this one more time, that he would put his chance to become president on the line. He has never backed down for any kind of debate any everyone can see this, as for how many times has he asked to have more debates.
A debate would be an excellant way for the people to have a chance to comment on this bailout proposal. The Government is in negotiations to hand $700B of the people's money to Wall Street and the people have been given no opportunity to comment on that idea (presumeably because there's no time) - I am fed up with back room deals being cut, that will effect all of our lives, and we are shut out of the conversation. Lets debate this. Lets hear where the candidates stand on this issue, and lets challenge them defend their position on this issue - out loud - on TV - where nobody can hide from we the people
Yes, they should debate. The ability to handle more than one major crisis at a time is an aspect that a good President should have. Mr. McCain is not showing that to me and I would like to hear his explanation. I would like to see if his other judgment concern foriegn affairs take the same method processing. Mr. McCain is a big gambler as we can see with the Vice President nomination but will he gamble when it comes to lifes of young men and women in war. I am a Vietnam Veteran an I had my life gambled with enough without solid planning and knowledge. Let them debate and let me see if he maintains this line of consious thought.
McCain is chicken, knows he looses in a heads up fight and is retreating to save his butt. It's too bad he did not take this approach while flying our planes, as it would have been much cheaper....
Whoever wrote this is a "true" coward and most likely has never served in the armed forces.
Debate!
They should debate. No need to put it off. Is McCain afraid? They can work on the crisis and debate. For him to threaten to stay at home is crazy.
