Gas on 6 Forks

My mother-in-law went to a movie this morning. On her way there, gas at a station on 6 Forks (Exxon at N. Hills I believe) was $3.66. On her way home -- about 2 hours later -- it was $4.77.

That kind of inflation is positively Zimbabwean!

Gas in Pembroke (Robeson County)

Gas is running $4.69 a gallon in Pembroke, in Robeson County. Folks are complaining about $4.01????

A mixed bag of gas prices

On the way home from work I saw everything from $3.68/gal to $4.77/gal and with many inbetween. It was insane! I got about 7 gallons at one of the middle-cost gas stations and maybe spent only 2 dollars plus a few cents more for the same amount of gas as I would have purchased at the cheap places but without the insanity of waiting in such long lines. I figured my time was worth more than $2/hour or however long it took those folks to finally get to the pumps in those long gas lines as they probably spent $2 worth of gas just idling in line anyway!
