This millstream was reputed to have been constructed by the Romans (the mill itself is obviously much newer) and is supposedly where the Anglo Saxon King Canute drowned , sometime after he commanded the waves to go back!!
Bosham is also the place where my husband and I did much of our courting and where we returned this summer for a "down memory lane" visit much to our teenage children's distress!!!!
It is a beautiful place in West Sussex,a county in the south of England ,and looks very pretty on a sunny day (unfortunately it rained the day we visited).
