JULIANNE HOUGH, aka: Dancing With The Stars Queen and Pop Queen turned Country Star JEWEL played Walnut Creek Saturday night with Brad Paisley.
*Bought my 10th Row Center tix on the day of show. Killer freaking seat!
*Why are the seat cup holders installed at an angle? Just more drinking thinking.
*Julianne only got 20 minutes but it was a jacked-up energetic set and she worked the runway ramp like a seasoned pro.
*Since my seat was right beside the ego-ramp, (runway stage), I felt like I was taking "up-skirt shots" with the camera and looking back at them I guess I was. Julianne had shorts on under hers which seemed kind of overly cautious. Come on, at the beach you don’t wear shorts, add some ruffles and have at it.
*Jewel’s set was more laid back but she can certainly sing.
*She made everyone, all guys, in her band wear white wife-beater shirts with “GOT YOURS?” on them. It looked really pathetic, she talked sheepishly about it. She should have had to wear one too, that would have put an end to it.
*When you put those clear drum shields around the drum kit, clean the things! Nasty looking.
*But Jewel, Julianne please, when you walk out to the end of the runway stage and a sun bright white spotlight those of us behind you can see the lack of total shaving on those million dollar legs. Don’t you have a roadie that could handle that for you? Looks like that job could be the Grand Prize as a radio station giveaway. I’d enter to win and share the pictures. Lol…
