In general, a very nice job

In general, a very nice job making tough choice. I will only quarrel with a few. 00 has to be Robert Parish, part of the big Three of the Celtics. While I love Mugsy, Tracy McGrady gets my vote at uniform #1. At #2, I would have to go with Larry Johnson at this point over Raymond. Perhaps down the road Raymond would be the choice, but not now. You got to love Ron Francis but the kind of two-sport greatness exhibited by Dick Groat makes this a no-brainer for me at #10. Finally, I would have to with Carl Eller over Torry Holt at #81. It is hard to pass on an NFL Hall of Famer, and part of the famous Purple People Eaters of Vikings fame. All in all, this makes for interesting discussion. Thanks.

Marion Jones????

Marion Jones???? I know she has some issues, but her college career alone in track and basketball should be worth something. What about Charlotte Smith and Tonya Sampson who led UNC to multiple national titles?? What about Rhonda Mapp, Andrea Stinson who ignited NCSU basketball in the 90's? Antwan Jamison? Eric Staal? Tom Guggliotta? I could probably go on and on...

Jimmy Streater deserves

Jimmy Streater deserves mention here...I believe he wore 19 at Sylva-Webster HS in the 70s, before playing QB at UTenn and starring in the CFL

No Mention of Carlester Crumpler ???

Thanks for the article. I enjoyed it immensely. It must have been difficult to not only select the winners but also the "honorable mentions". I have no problem with Buck Leonard being named the designee for #32. However, not mentioning Carlester Crumpler of Wilson Fike and ECU is a claring oversite. Carlester not only brought three consecutive 4A State football championships to Wilson but did it in one of the most dominating ways ever seen in North Carolina high school history. He also went on to become, at his time, the number one rusher in ECU history.

Well..to be frank, he did

Well..to be frank, he did give his best shot..

Overall I think the list is

Overall I think the list is good and everyone did a good job with the picks, but my biggiest thing is that Antwan Jamison is not mentioned anywhere in the article, not even in the also wore that number. His number is retired and he was a winner of the National Player of the Year.

Hi

Hi I think they left out many good players. Joe Milinichik was All-ACC and All-American at NCSU. He also played 10 years in the NFL and went to the Superbowl with the San Diego Chargers. He wore # 71 for the Wolfpack. I think he should have been mentioned.

No Antawn Jamison even mentioned?!

Overall, y'all did a good job. I would disagree with Ron Francis at #10 over Lenny Rosenbluth but realize you had to put some hockey folks on the list.

However, how did you leave off NATIONAL PLAYER OF THE YEAR Antawn Jamison from even being listed as another player wearing #33?!?!?!?! Heck, you could make an argument that his NBA career has been better than the often-injured Grant Hill (Jamison does have a higher career scoring average, after all).

Again, good overall job but the failure to even consider Jamison is dumb-founding.

Why was Chris Paul not on

Why was Chris Paul not on the list?
