I saw this eagle at a wildlife center and was upset to hear that it had a bullet in it. It was inoperable and this beautiful creature was going to be euthanized.

It is very sad that someone would shoot such a magnificent bird. It is a shame that there is nothing that they can do for him. The eagle is absolutely beautiful flying overhead - I have had the opportunity to see them on occasion on Jordan Creek in Beaufort County. Thanks for sharing this picture, it certainly touched my heart.
