Cotton pickin' crusher

Wow!  I didn't know anything like this had ever been put into service.  I think that compression rivals modern compactors used on radioactive waste drums.

Does cotton get compacted today before shipment?

I presume this is permanently installed at the Farmpark and that the "roof" is just to help protect it from the elements, true?

Its a permanent fixture

Just as a lot of the other steam engines, diesel engines, steam train, buildings, etc. Denton FarmPark is quite an amazing place indeed and when they have their annual southeast threshers reunions, that when all the tractors and other mobile exhibitions and exhibitors come in from all across the country as well as some internationally too. Trust me, these annual festivals have become huge!!! You should check out the history section in their website to see how it all began. Anyway the festival goes on until July 5th this year just in case you (or anyone else reading this) might be interested. Oh, and if you like taking photos bring a big memory card or multiple memory cards!
