DownTownLive packed them in last night, these Events are nailed down now and running like a well oiled machine but I just needed more venom with shocking electricity coming from the stage. All the music just seemed to be more of a day after, hangover café kind of thing but the cure for that is coming in two weeks: ALTER BRIDGE and TANTRIC will bring the heat and excitement by the truckload.
A lot of good that might do me though, TOM PETTY is at The Creek the same night. Party decisions are so hard to make, even if you make the right choice it’s hard to really know. God forbid I make the wrong one.
It’s Sunday but that doesn’t feel so much like the last day before jumping back into the 5 day grind, it’s only 3 days this week, well maybe 2.5 since DAVE MATTHEWS is Wednesday night at The Creek I’m bound to punch out early to make sure the party is well primed.
I love wild things in the middle of the week, what a way to kick off the Holiday. It was really great planning by our founding fathers to schedule our Independence Day right in the middle of the Summer. I can hear Benjamin Franklin now, “Jefferson, have you been drinking grog? We can’t declare Independence in February, let’s put this off to July, how about The Forth Of July?”
