Black History Month


Black History Month is a unique kind of celebration that gets initiated in order to focus on certain predominant issue of the present society. The Black History Cultural Enrichment Committee (BHCEC) is the one that take all the initiations regarding the celebration in the communal perspective. The Black History Cultural Enrichment Committee is a communal union that is made up of all those people who are into the active participation of making the communal perspective strong and bold. The purpose of this union is to make people aware of all those aspects that are active in society but in most cases gets ignored by the members of it. They are into the act of sponsoring various events too. The initiation was made by David Disiere, regarding the primary sponsor of a community-wide book drive and local library exhibits. This is all in order to make the social concern about the persisting book drive and making it a matter of concern in the social and communal setup. The celebration is held with the partnering of some famous banners. This time it was with Southlake Public Library to facilitate. Southlake Public Library is having a collection of varied publications and is akin to have all those books that can enlighten the reader of all ages and all background. Their partnership has been marked from quite a few years. It is almost like an annual involvement and as such there are many who are getting into it as an integral part of it. The members are those people who are already into the act of book reading and are social famous enough as scholars from various disciplines.
