What should happen in the Lynn Paddock case?

Lynn Paddock is charged with murder in the 2006 death of Sean Paddock, a 4-year-old she and her husband adopted from foster care. She also faces child abuse charges for disciplinary tactics she administered with her other adopted children. A Johnston County jury will be asked to decide her fate at a trial. What do you think should happen in this case?

Sean

I cant say what I want, but next best tkibg is LIFE NEVER GET OUT

Fry the crazy bitch

This woman is completely messed up. She deserves to die a miserable death. As miserable as she made it for these poor children. The "ADOPTION AGENCY" should be ashamed of themselves for not doing their job the right way.

I just wonder how well they will heal with what happened to them and hope they don't repeat what they learned in their early stages of life.

I wish all the children that suffer from abuse to heal well and be strong you can make it.

LYNN PADDOCK

It's sad that these kids had to go thru' what they did. They alone know what it felt like to live in that house with that woman who is not fit to be called a mother!!Don't know why the kids were put there in the first place when the couple were recovering alcohol addicts. Why were their backgrounds not checked before giving them preference over their own grandparents who obviously would've loved these kids already experiencing seperation issues from their own parents?Plus, I don't think the father was totally unaware of what was going on at home with his wife, he had to be involved to a certain extent. They were both busy using taxpayers money for their own addiction issues. There is no punishment enough for anyone who puts innocent kids through what all they've been put through. She should never be let out free on the streets, because then in a few years time when everything is forgotten, she'll qualify herself to go adopt some more kids to torture them.

Indeed, you are right! But

Indeed, you are right! But have you considered the idea of attending an alcohol treatment rehab? I am sure that this would be one of the most suitable solution.

WHAT SHOULD HAPPEN IN THE LYNN PADDOCK CASE

Well since the DA has already pretty much said thru his actions that this little boys life was not worth the mother (and I use this term loosely because she should not have ever been able to be a mother to this child)getting the death penalty. I would hope she spends the rest of her life in prison. I also hope that the remaining part of her life is as miserable as possible. As far as I am concerned she is not worth the ground she walks on. I hope this has been a lesson for child protection workers in both Johnston and Wake County.

kay

I agree

Why were the Children taken from the grandparent .......

My question is why did the state take the childrens from the grandparent in the first place????? Ya, everybody have money issue but why didn't the gov. or state help the grandparent with that and leave the childrens with them. If the grandparent provided a roof, clothes, food and most of all LOVE for these childrens why didn't they just leave them there????? You know we really can't judge the people in the child protection, for they were doing their job, but we can hope and pray that this will never happend again to any other childrens in this world. For the Paddock lady I'm sure she is living her days as not worth it but one day it will all come to her, her life in prison will not be as miserable as you or other may want it to be because we (the world) is keeping her and the other in prison up from day to day. I'm sure somewhere in her heart or soul all of this is eating at her and she want to die herself. But do keep in mind these children are the one that have really gone thur Living H---, Why did  I say that , is because I know how it feel don't to be loved or wanted, But (my sister and I) were both adoted into a good christain home and I thank God for that everyday. I really don't blam the worker that try to help these childrens in this situation but I do Blam  the PARENTS OF THESE CHILDRENS because these children didn't ask to be born in this world all they asked for is for SOMEONE TO LOVE THEM AND BE THERE FOR THEM.  Maybe this Lynn is already miserable for what she did do but my main question is still why didn't the state or gov. help the grandparent with these children and I'm sure if they did then this little boy would still be alive.

grandparents

im the biological grandfather of sean , and i was never given the opportunity to have sean and his brother and sister.i still dont know why.

Grandparents

What a tragedy for you. You might want to consider legal action--after all, you are family, and your grandchild has been torn from you.

Family should

I think family should have the right to have the 1st opportity for these children and leave them with family that will be there for them. Eventhose the PARENT of these children were bad of whatever they were doing or not begin there for these children, they should have been left alone and stay with their family that they grew up with and knowing that they will not be departed from their grandparent who LOVED them and would have done whatever was need to do to keep them in their own family. Sometime DSS think they know what is best for childrens but really and truley they don't, Did they give the children a chance to see who they wanted to live with?????????????
