LOOKING FOR GOOD-HEARTED PEOPLE to assist elderly or disabled adults with the help they need to live independently in their own homes. Volunteers needed in all parts of Wake County, but ESPECIALLY in 27604, 27610 and 27616 zipcode areas.
Volunteer opportunities include Respite Care, Friendly Visits, Telephone Assurance, Transportation (e.g. rides to medical apptmts), Errands, Home Chores/Gardening. Volunteers matched according to interest and location. Background checks performed, initial Orientation session required.
