Clinton and Obama: Should one drop out of the race?

|

Democratic Party Chairman Howard Dean said Monday that either Hillary Rodham Clinton or Barack Obama must drop out of the Democratic presidential race after the June primaries in order to unify the party by the convention and win the election in November.

That said, which candidate should drop out of the race, Clinton or Obama?

Who should be Dem nominee

Whoever has the most delegates and pledged super delegates should become the nominee.

The super delegates who are still undecided should pledge in June, based on whoever has the most popular votes, including Florida, but not counting Michegan, since Obama was not on the ballot there.

Who should drop out?

BOTH.................

who should drop out

I concur; both should drop out!!
The Democratic party shoud find candidates who are capable of realy leading this country. Neither of the two individuals they currently have is capable of leading the country or of gaining respect from government around the world. These two would wid up being somebodies puppets!!

What's the hurry?

If a candidate believes they are the best candidate, and they believe a clear winner has not yet been determined, then they should continue their campaign efforts.  That is the lesson of Al Gore; do not give up just because it comforts some for you to do so.  Instead, fight for your vision to be realized, until there is no reasonable doubt that it won't.  It is up to the candidate to define what reasonable is, not his/her detractors.

This is a natural part of the democratic process, there will be contentious moments.  Be thankful the system is working.  Be thankful that compromised votes, like those in Florida and Michigan did not destroy the credibility of the election process.

Just an aside:  How many elections is Florida going to botch up and ruin???

democratic primary

all these polls show me is that it's not the primary candidates that are messed up, it's the people of this nation.
There is some much anger and cynicism in the American psyche. Take control of your own lives and stop expecting the government to do it for you!

Neither

I have never understood why either should drop out. The one with the most delegates should be prez and the other vice-pres.

Neither democrackkk is worthy, BOTH Incompetent

the only worthy candidate, shunned by media, is Dr. Ron Paul
whom you can see/hear Friday at UNC-CH, and at Duke! Hear the man who is the ONLY real conservative and the ONLY true republican/libertarian running. He has OUR votes!

STRIVE to be SMARTER than a democrackkk*

*spelled with 3 Ks to HONOR the democrat heritage as the ORIGINAL 'party' of SLAVERY, as they continue to ENSLAVE us ALL!

Hillary!!!! and NO

Hillary!!!! and NO POSSIBILITY of a second run later!!!

Obama For President

Hillary lies too much for me. She campaigned for NAFTA in the mid 90s and now says she always appossed it. NAFTA has taken thousands of jobs from NC. She should drop out, and then stand behind Obama and encourage unity. She is just trying to lie and cheat her way back to the top. It's all about Greed and Power for her, not Morals and Integrity. Do some research and then tell me she's not lying to us.

I'm voting for Obama.

OBAMA, goodbye

Obama needs to withdraw from this race immediately. He is damaged goods with his questionable associates, his anti-white, anti-American pastor, and his complete lack of answers to any of these issues. Not to mention his utter lack of experience.

Hillary Clinton, on the other hand, brilliantly addresses any issue tossed at her. She is not afraid to walk right into the most difficult situations with the most difficult people. She connects with people on a level Obama cannot even dream of with his glorified, rock-star speeches.

Good people of North Carolina, I urge you to vote for the one candidate who is REAL and will WORK TIRELESSLY for us...Hillary Clinton!
