Suzy Andron’s “Orb” Selected for Juried Exhibition

Raleigh, NC: Suzy Andron, a Raleigh artist, announced today that her piece, Orb, was selected for the Associated Artists of Winston Salem show, Critters: Real and Imagined. The show ran from February 28 until April 7 at the Associated Artists Gallery, located at 301 West Fourth Street, Winston-Salem, NC and will be on display from April 15 until May 22, 2008 at SciWorks. SciWorks is located in Winston-Salem at 400 West Hanes Mill Road.

The theme of the show, Critters: Real and Imagined, encouraged artists to submit pieces that reflected real animals or creatures from their imagination and flights of fancy. Entries were juried by Millicent Greason of Urban Artware.

“It is a privilege to have been selected from the numerous other artists who submitted their work for the Associated Artists Gallery’s exhibit,” stated Suzy Andron.  “I am so pleased Orb was selected for the show because it is such a fun, captivating piece. It fit in perfectly with the theme of the show.”

Andron’s work can be seen at the modern Mexican restaurant and tequila lounge, Jibarra, located in Raleigh, North Carolina, as well as in corporate spaces, such as SAS Institute. Anyone may browse Suzy Andron’s online gallery by visiting www.andron.com.
