Paint That Bridge, Please
Route 146 connects Providence RI to Worcester MA. It is now a 4 lane highway that used to end just outside of Worcester. They connected the Mass Turnpike to that end of 146 and now 146 connects up with Route 290, which runs through Worcester.
They built several bridges over the new highway to connect roads that never used to go through, or for walkovers. But the nice thing they did was to paint them different colors:
This is a red one. They did blue, purple and green too.
So, when will they paint that ugly gray bridge that goes over the 440 beltway. Please paint it. If Worcester can come up with painting these bridges, then we should be able to do it here.
They should have painted the purple bridge nearer to Holy Cross, cause it is the school color.
