The Ravenscroft Key Club took home an Outstanding Club Award and three third-place awards at the Carolinas District Key Club Convention held April 5 at the Sheraton Imperial RTP.
The Outstanding Club Award was presented to only 10 clubs in the Carolinas. Ravenscroft's three third-place awards for for club Video, District Project (Gaming Tournament for Boys and Girls Homes of NC) and Major Emphasis Project (Swimathon for Duke Children's Hospital).
Key Club members who attended were: senior Sydney Holt, juniors Sallie King, Callie Uffman and Amanda Piltzer, and sophomores Nicole Davis, Leah Ling and Shannon Dwyer.
According to the Key Club International Web site, the Key Club is the oldest and largest service program for high school students.
