Players who need another year of college

Tyler needs to stay in school. Another great college player that will be sitting on the bench for the rest his pro life. Too slow and can't guard any small or power forward in the NBA. Tyler just like JJ Redrick and Alan Morrison CAN NOT PLAY WITH THE THE BIG DAWGS. Tyler and Love please stay in college and enjoy ypour time as being the MAN. Love will have a better chance to hang around in the NBA. Another case of slow tall guys with no NBA skills to play with the brothers. The sad part of this is that, there always be a spot on the teams for players such as these. just keeping it real!!

Everyone need to stay!!

Are you Kidding me? Tyler needs to stay. His low post skills aren't there, he isn't going to bully anyone down low in the NBA.Here are a few reasons to come back. Tim Ducan,Dwight Howard, Shaq, and Kevin Garnett thats to name a few. He isn't going to be a lottery pick or a great NBA player Kevin Love is going to find out the same thing.Tyler needs to come back work on the jump shot and extend it to the 3point line and work on his ball handling. Ty Lawson here a few reason for you to stay AJ Mayo, Derrick Rose, Dj Augustin, Chris Douglas Roberts, and Darren Collison. Where does he fit in at,his dfense needs lots of work. His jump shot isn't there like it should be.Wayne Ellington has the best jump shot I've ever seen. I think had wonderful season, but your off the dribble skills need more work and you defense needs improvement. This isn't 2005 when Felton,May, McCants, and Williams left. There were no doubts about there skill level. There is no guarantee that we will win the NCAA title next year, but I think for your pro careers to be better each needs to come back.. I'm a die hard Tarheels FAN!!!!! I'm just keeping it real also..

Hansbrough

First, I wish they would simply change the rule so that once you accept a scholarship, you're there for four years. Make college basketball truly about "student" athletes. Having said that, I don't blame any of the players for taking advantage of the rules as they are and leaving early if they are in the unique position of being able to secure their financial future. You can go back to school with a blown out knee anytime. Its kind of like Dean Smith always voting for the shot clock, but he ran the four corners and slowed the game down because the rules allowed it and secured many a victory that way.

As for Hansbrough...he will be a better pro than many people give him credit for in my opinion. However, unlike all the others on this list he has the opportunity by coming back to take his place as the greatest player who ever played basketball at UNC. There is something to be said for leaving a legacy...especially at a school where Ford, Jordan, Worthy, Perkins wore the same jersey. No one else on the list above has that opportunity.

tyler hansborough

tyler please stay for i more year carolina is my favorite team and you guys are just a pleasure to watch so all of you please stay on

Why take classes?

Why make any of them take classes if they aren't there to graduate??? Let someone else having more serious thoughts of graduating have their seat in the class.

Stay in school

Tyler, Ty and Wayne need to stay in school and develop more. They will bring a NCAA championsip back to UNC next year. They will have it in their blood to work very very hard in the off season to do just that. Can you really see anyone else winning it next year. The fun and excitement that you all bring to the game is amazing. Don't let your fans down. Do it for them. Everyone says that you should live in the moment. Well live in the moment of college basketball stars. GO HEELS

Who should go early to the pros

Tyler Hansbrough is the only NC player who should probably go and that is due to the fact that he is so much older than the typical college player already. Realistically he should already be out of college. He was a 20 year old freshman and if he stays for his senior year he will be 24 before he plays his first pro game. That may make his draft ranking go lower since there is not much upside potential and the pros are not very bright when it comes to valuing productivity over potential.

The only reason for him to stay in school would be to complete his degree and to enjoy college life for one more year. There is nothing wrong with that and I wish the sports media would play up that angle more for all athletes. In my opinion, the sports media is a bigger factor in players turning pro early than anything else. A player is basically made to feel like there is something wrong with him for wanting to stay in college four years. A top ranked recruit starts being bombarded the day they arrive on campus with questions about when they will leave for the pros. It takes a very strong-willed individual like Shane Battier or Tim Duncan to not give in to the temptation to rush life. They realized that the most enjoyment they would ever get in sports comes before they start being paid for it so they chose to enjoy it for one or two more years.

Go HEELS

Come on back everyone--let's rock a championship again!!!!!
