Channel Island Live Eagle Cam

This eagle cam is located on Santa Cruz Island in California. The view is wonderful and the cam has sounds which makes watching the male and female eagles care for their young so interesting.  The two chicks were hatched this week so right now they are a little wobbly but so cute…

With the difference in time, the cam is visible around 9:30 in the morning and until bedtime at night making it so convenient to watch.

Eagle Cam

The baby chicks are getting stronger and not quite as wobbly, almost hopping in the nest now.  Hope you will take a look.

Pelican Harbor Eagle Cam

If you have been watching the eagles in California, you have noticed that the nest is empty. There was an attack by an intruder, probably a 3 year old eagle.

Both eaglets were found in the brush below, very alert which is a good sign. One has a cracked bill and seems to be okay otherwise. The other has a broken wing.

They are now under veterinary care, sleeping soundly and seem to be doing well. It is not known if they will be returned to the nest at any time.
