I thought political parties were supposed to stick together and be one. I must be wrong because the Dems are acting like a bunch of school children. And I'm afraid many of us are too.
This could happen in either party, but right now it's Democrats. If you are in a party where two candidates will do anything to pull each other down, I feel sorry for you. It's supposed to be all about unity. Whoever the freakin' nominee ends up being there's a chance that folks who wanted the other person may not even vote for the party in the general election. Don't believe me? Just wait and see. I think the party is dividing more and more everyday.
What's the point of having different parties if within those parties there are issues? Sure there will be people with different ideas but the point is for everyone to work together as a party and figure out what's best. I'm not saying it should be easy. But I don't think they are trying. You have party members trashing each other because one follows Hillary Clinton and the other follows Barack Obama. To me, that makes no sense. Again, you can differ on some things, but you still need to work together in order to be effective.
I think the Dems should have some integrity and show some respect for each other. Don't pull the race card or the gender card. Don't let prominent people who support you (like Geraldine Ferraro or Jeremiah Wright) ruin things for the party. Correct them and show everyone that you won't stand for kind of divisive crap. Obama should have denounced Wright's comments sooner. Hillary should have told Ferrarrow to take her comments back about Barack only being where he is in the race because of his race. These absurd remarks hurt the party.
If you're going to be on a team, be a team player. Grow up and tell your supporters to do the same.

Divided by lack of Transparency
DID WE JUST LOOSE OUR RIGHT TO BEAR ARMS
SO MUCH FOR OBAMA’S TRANSPARENCEY
Has Anyone Heard About This? Not even the candidates are saying anything about it on the campaign trial. WHY? It is a bill sponsored by OBAMA called the Poverty Act of 2007. It was rushed through the Senate in about 2 days. AND OUR ECONOMY BEING WHAT IT IS!!!! HOW DID YOUR SENATOR VOTE? HOW DID YOUR US REPRESENTATIVE VOTE FOR IT IN AUGUST, 2007? CALL THEM AND ASK.
THE SENATE UPDATE PAGE HAS NOT PUT THE VOTE OF THE SENATORS UP. THEY SAY THEY ARE ABOUT 2 OR 3 DAYS GETTING IT POSTED. THIS WAS ALMOST 2 MONTHS AGO, SO YOU CAN’T SEE WHO VOTED FOR IT .
IN THE MEAN TIME MR. EROTIC, EXOTIC, ELITE OBAMA IS IN CALIFORNIA AT IRANIAN BILLIONIARE ALEX MEHRAN’S HOUSE TALKING ABOUT THE GUN-TOTIN’, BIBLE THUMPING, BACKWOODS PEOPLE OF PENNSYLVANIA. DO YOU THINK HE WAS ONLY TAKLING ABOUT PENNSYLVANIANS? NOT ON YOUR LIFE. HE WAS TALKING ABOUT EVERYONE OF US POOR PEOPLE IN EVERY STATE.
Well, we turned our heads for a second and got the shaft. I had heard a quick blip just before the one of the primaries in March that Senator Joe Biden pushing Obama’s Poverty Act of 2007 bill through the Senate. But then I never heard anything more. It had been scheduled for debate on April 24, 2008. So much for our media, huh? And why isn’t Obama crowing at the top of his voice about it?
