NCSU School of Design Student Maddie Langley recycled an old glider rocker. She covered it with burlap and grew grass on it. It is sitting in the circle at State near the bell tower. It sits complete with flower pillow, grass rug and watering can because you know you can't use a hose!

What a great design idea! I've seen old wooden chairs recycled in yards with flowers growing in the seats, but this is way better!
