|

James A. House, President and Founder of H.O.U.S.E. Theatre Arts Group (Helping Our Underserved Skills & Education) is hitting the pavement hard with a goal to meet the needs of economically disadvantaged at-risk youth and young adults across the country that are searching for hope, a future and an activity to fill the void in their lives. Mr. House is sure to demonstrate to many communities, that there is value in putting our resources and support behind the youth of America. Since 2002, he has focused his personal and professional effort toward meeting the unmet needs of youth and young adults across the country. Today’s headlines often focus on young people involving themselves in dangerous lifestyle choices, believing that it is their only option. House hopes to reverse the negative press and media reports when it comes to our youth by providing them with creative experiences through the avenue of arts. Based in Killeen, Texas, Cary, North Carolina and Marietta, Ga., Mr. House has attempted to fill the void regarding lack of positive role models and mentors. H.O.U.S.E. Theatre Arts Group provides in the form of art education (Acting, Dance, and Music). James A. House desires to change the face of our youth who are gifted, yet undiscovered, in order to unveil the talents that lie dormant within. His mission directs him into communities of undeserved youth that need a voice. Mr. House states, “Arts education builds self-esteem, motivates and provides an opportunity to redirect our youth towards constructive and affirming skills they can use to become a productive member of society." The passion and heartbeat Mr. House possesses has kept him steadfast as he walks the streets of various cities to determine the need for the next H.O.U.S.E Theatre Arts Group. Conversations held with at-risk youth reveal their sense of hopelessness, low self esteem and the lack of opportunity to experience something better. There is hope, and there is an alternative to fill the void. "The establishment of a H.O.U.S.E. Theatre Arts Group can create a passageway of hope focused towards enhancing the family, enriching the community and ultimately, "changing the face of our youth." With the help of celebrities, school officials, and politicians, Mr. House plans to establish additional Centers in targeted communities throughout the United States by showcasing the bountiful, rich talents hidden in these communities, as
well as provide necessary statistics helpful in launching upcoming Centers. "Nothing is possible without God on our side. I give all the honor and exaltation through this
