It was announced Monday that Florida is not going to have another primary. Now what? What can Obama and Clinton do to help this situation? What should party leaders do?

I think Obama should unify Michigan and Florida and allow everyone to vote.
We should not be punishing the citizens of Michigan and Florida for the actions of state government. The citizens deserve the right to vote and have their vote count.
Comment: FOR THOSE WHO KNOW; NO EXPLANATION IS NECESSARY, FOR THOSE WHO DON'T, NO EXPLANATION WILL SUFFICE. Stay focused Barack.
I predict that the Florida primary will be counted as is at the convention in August, and that the Michigan primary may split its delegates 50/50, since Obama was not on the ballot, but that the popular vote from that state will go to Hillary.
If the DNC does not fairly count FL and Michigan they are fools and they will lose in November, guaranteed. They will also lose a lot of Democrats.
here's what i think they should do in florida:

One Person One Vote
Its amazing how quickly the idealistc ivory tower of the Obama team crumbles when it comes to counting every vote. Obamacans stand on an ivory tower and scream how we shouldnt follow the rules established for superdelegates and we should be intimidated into ignoring the rules and followin their wishes... yet out of the other corner of their mouth they scream bloody murder hypocritically at the ideal of finding a way to make sure votes in the states of Michigan and Florida can be counted in this close election. THE REASON super delegates are established to be an independent votering block is very clear. Election primaries spread out over various states and months present a very different candidate field in January from what we have to choose from now in March. The primary contest in April/May in the remaining states is s very different animal than from where we began. Many voters in states now would have like to voted earlier and given momentum to John Edwards who has since dropped out- or visaversa voters from January may have voted different if they had known what we would be left with is Hillary and Obama. Superdelegates are meant to bridge the range of changes over the primary season and be a force in deciding the best candidate left standing in JULY to beat the Republicants. If a skeleton jumps out of the closet of a leading candidate in May or June before the party convention- the super delegates are there to save the day and help nominate the best candidate to win going forward from the convention.
Should Michigan and Florida vote? In an election decided in a basic split vote down the middle- how could we NOT make sure every voter is given the right to decide and keep this from being a tainted election. The Obama folks don't want Florida and Michigan because they are likely to garner more electorial votes for Clinton. Their active stance stands in direct contrast to the smoke screne they have been blowing, unless "yes we can" is code for 'yes we can steal this election.....
The state of Florida's REPUBLICAN GOVERNOR moved the state's primary up to the January date. It wasn't the fault of the voters. Michigan signed up to the same rules as everyone else and made a mistake in their primary decision. They are now forced to pay the price of paying for a completely new election during the sanctioned timeframe.
Bottomline: If we are going to have a clean election we have a litmus test for legitimacy. We must make every effort to make sure every person is giving the right to vote. Every voice needs to be heard and every vote needs to be counted.
