Located at 117 Turner Street in Beaufort, the Royal James Cafe is named after a pirate ship that once cruised the waters in this area under Blackbeard and Stede Bonnet around 1718. Also known as the home of the "Best Burger in Beaufort," the Royal James Cafe is Beaufort's oldest business which has been in continuous operation since 1947.
