When can we begin impeachment proceedures on comunist leader Meeker? He has gone way too far. He is making Raleigh a living hell for us to live here now. I haven't had this many rules and regulations to live by since elementary school. I am so disapointed in Meeker and the city government leaders. I hope someone will step up and stop his dictatorship and begin some good sound planning and development for this city. I cannot believe how quickly Meeker has ruined Raleigh that use to be such a wonderful place to live only a short 10 years ago. Are the people in Raleigh blind? What has happened to this city? The last time I saw a passionate fight was when they stopped Coker Towers. And now look at all the sprall that has occured since that. But the roads and the schools were allowed to remain the same...as well as the water supply..which is why we are in a pickle. Impeach Meeker!

Please sign the petition to reverse the ban on garbage dispsal installations. $25K is excessive to say the least!! These people are morons!!!

Meeker seeks meeting with Falls officials
Wow! I wish I would have thought of that. Meeker is going to meet with Falls Officials, our water is saved.
Here’s another idea. Do something! Close car washes; turn off drinking fountains, buy sink aerators with .5 gpm flow, showerheads with 2.5 gpm, and offer trade-ins for any Raleigh resident. Make a recorded message about the crisis and require all local radio and TV stations to play the message twice an hour. We create the potential snow storm a crisis at least we could treat this real emergency with the same sense of urgency.
