Have a Heart Purrfect Pairs Adoption Event on Feb. 9thFebruary is the perfect time to celebrate our animal friends, and those they love. Join us for a unique adoption event, featuring cat and dog couples who would like to be adopted together, as well as singles who are still looking for love. Plan to make an afternoon of it, as there will be plenty of festivities! Petco at South Square, Saturday Feb. 9  9am-6pm:  Bake sale to benefit IAR1-5 pm: Purrfect Pairs cat/dog adoption event 2pm: Pet Valentine party sponsored by Petco (free pet photos, decorate a pet cookie, and best kisser contest)

2nd Annual Have a Heart Valentine Wine Tasting Coming Up!Please plan to join us for the 2nd annual Have a Heart Valentine Wine Tasting and Silent Auction. Fine wines, fabulous food, fun music and a silent auction will all benefit Independent Animal Rescue. The event is from 3 pm- 7 pm on Sunday, February 10th, at Rigsbee Hall in Durham. The address is 208 Rigsbee Avenue in Durham, or just click on the link for their website. This year’s tasting event will feature grower champagnes produced by RH Coutier, Allouchery, Renaudin, Jacquesson, Moncuit, Barnaut, Diebolt-Vallois and others. Additional wines will be available by the glass. Silent auction items will include dinner dates and gift items, jewelry from Hamilton Hill, as well as fine wines including 2001 Chateau Beaucastel CNDP Hommage Jacques Perrin.
100% of Have a Heart profits will aid in the rescue and care of homeless, abandoned, and abused animals.Have a Heart Purrfect Pairs is shaping up to be a fabulous event, and we hope to see you there!
