Whew, that was a close one! Was I relieved to find out 'Family Tree' isn't about actual trees, like the characters in 'Logjam', my own comic strip! (See http://logjamcomic.blogspot.com) By the way, 'Logjam' is available, if you're looking for a new guest strip!

I think it's really stupid. It's been out for... What? two days? It's not funny.

it looks like a one-trick pony.  If every strip is about environmental consciousness, it's going to get real old, real quick. 

Furthermore, the art isn't that great.

I'll give it a little more time, but it needs to find its groove fast.

Boring. Not funny.

Not a fan of Family Tree or of It's All About You. Both strips are one-trick ponies when it comes to the humor. Neither one is horrible, but they aren't clever or interesting either. I don't get excited about reading them.

I like the new comics layout and inclusions. I have, however, grown weary of the staunch overt politics of Mallard Fillmore. I'd prefer to read a comic strip like this on the editorial page, where Doonesbury continues to run.

One older strip that I've loved for years (in other papers) is Frank and Ernest. Wouldn't mind seeing that one show up as a guest strip...

Just not funny. And though it has shown itself to be a bit more than a one trick pony (1 1/2 trick?), that has not really helped. The environmental consciousness stuff just isn't that funny and gets old fast and many other strips to family/school humor so much better.

The awfulness of Family Tree just blows my mind.
