A photo I made in April of 2005 during a dedication to the opening of the pedestrian bridge crossing over the Raleigh Beltline.
They are the Paperhand Puppet Intervention. Below at the bottom of this reply is their main website from which you can explore further. If you google "Paperhand Puppet Intervention" you can find even more... much more! Glad you asked as I forgot to put in a link.
I have some photos from some of the latest annual Haw River Festivals.
I was there also, perhaps I will see myself in the background of one of your pics. HEHE
...I made at both the 2006 and 2007 Haw River Festivals. Personally I think most of my better photos were made during the 2006 festival because the weather was so much better that year. I have still yet to go back into all those photos and select out a few more to post here, although I have already posted only a very limited number from the 2007 festival early on in my profile here. Stay tuned... but it may take a few days as I am currently working on collecting up some of my photos for another 'project'.
I look forward to seeing some of your paperhand puppet photos posted on Share. You have great shots from both years! It seems I could never get in the right position. But in 2006, you were right in the thick of it... your boys were a riot! And their artwork blossomed from beginners to little masters.
there was a terrible thunder storm with lightening last year. I was disappointed that I only got a few shots. I also have quite a few pics from 2006 but they were taken with my film camera and are so-so. I really got a kick of watching the kids playing in the stream that runs through the drainage pipe- as I recollect, there was a lot more of that going on in 2006 also.
Are these the same...
Are these the same puppets that I have seen at the Haw River Festival which takes place annually in May?
