Several interesting items if you want to pursue: Where do they get the dogs, percentage rehomed, death records should also be public domain with the NC Department of Agriculture. And they should be inspected by DOA, so should be interesting. Their patented response is to "rest assured" the "research dogs" (minimize their value) are fine. I'm always alert when a the head of a CVM says
"rest assured"...don't drink their "koolaide"...think additional research and facts are warrented.

Riverwood Middle School Band

I am in the Riverwood Middle School Band, percussion- playing the snare drum- (2007-2008).
I must admit I have learned ALOT from Mr.G, and have LOTS of fun while doing so.
We may not play songs that are out at the current moment, but we dont just sit back and play old classics, even when we do play them it is fun (to me).
We played Pirates of the Caribbean at our spring concert, and it was certainly a "toe-tapper".
Many people have left our band due to the opening of Archer Lodge School, but we still have a wonderful group of players.
I have fun, and the majority of the musicians on the band also have fun!

I witnessed shelter dogs in great distress throughout the summer of 2007. We are the voice of the voiceless. The public needs to keep an eye on Wake Animal Center...to be sure they keep making positive changes for the animals. Apathy means pain for the shelter dogs.

I can only hope we have a very mild summer. Last year, that month straight of 100+ degrees was horrible, even if you had a cushy home and air conditioning. The shelters were miserable, I am sure.

Thank you Java55. It truly is amazing the difference when you do it God's way. Since the the date of my last post (within the past two weeks) we had added 27 more people to our community. When God sees you're ready, He sends the growth. I encourage every pastor and ministry of every small church out there, hang in and find out what changes God desires you to make. This picture looks like it came right out of the "Get Fuzzy" cartoon strip...Bucky the cat in the "Get Fuzzy" strip often appears in a child safety seat with seatbelt on and large cap on his head. Bucky in real life..how funny!
